Crossover Re-entry

Restoring our community by providing a stable environment including housing,
employment opportunities, and discipleship to men coming out of incarceration.
Reclaiming Lives, Restoring Families
The impact of incarceration is felt deeply across North Tulsa. Due to historic segregation and systemic disparities, local families are disproportionately affected—highlighted by the stark reality that African Americans make up 27% of Oklahoma's prison population despite being only 7% of the state's total population.

We believe no one is beyond the reach of grace. Crossover's Statement of Faith reminds us that while we are all alienated by sin, we are rescued and renewed through Jesus Christ.

"Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body."
— Hebrews 13:3

Our heart is to welcome men coming out of incarceration with open arms and a spirit of gentleness (Galatians 6:1), extending the same transformative mercy we ourselves have received.

A Place to Call Home:
The Crossover Re-entry House
As part of our comprehensive mission to see North Tulsa flourish, the Crossover Re-entry House offers residents a stable, beautifully updated home to rebuild their lives.

Location is everything. The house is steps away from the Crossover Community Center and Crossover Health Services, and just blocks from the Peoria Rapid Bus Transit station and the Osage Prairie Trail—making work, wellness, and recreation highly accessible. Inside, the newly remodeled home is fully equipped to support five residents and a house manager, featuring a large bunk room, two full bathrooms, dual living spaces, and a shared kitchen and dining room built for true community living.

Pathways to Employment & Stability
Dedicated Job Placement
Securing employment after incarceration is one of the steepest hurdles our residents face. To ease this transition, we actively build and maintain strong partnerships with local employers, helping men secure stable jobs the moment they arrive at the Crossover Reentry House.

A Supportive, Structured Environment
Long-term success requires a safe, positive, and focused environment. Because we are deeply committed to seeing our residents reach their goals, we maintain clear, structured house policies. These guidelines are designed as protective boundaries, ensuring a distraction-free space where everyone can thrive.

Faith in Action: Disciple-Making & Justice
We believe every follower of Christ is called to make disciples, teaching others to walk in the ways of Jesus (Matthew 28:18-20). At the same time, we embrace our calling "to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with our God" (Micah 6:8).

To live out this dual calling, our participants actively train and engage with the disciple-making ministries of Crossover Bible Church, growing through:

  • Missional Teams: Living out faith and serving our community together in practical, everyday ways.
  • Life-on-Life Discipleship: Building deep, personal relationships centered on spiritual growth and mutual accountability.
